HANDMADE HICKORY IN LIGHT BROWN WITH SAPWOOD HIGHLIGHTS

The distinctive neutral light brown colour that is unique to Kavala is achieved by a subtle surface treatment that mutes some of the warmth naturally present in Hickory’s heartwood, resulting in a natural organic feel perfect for today’s design trends. The look that our Kavala floors strive for is to showcase hickory’s beautiful brown heartwood by limiting the white sapwood to accent strips along the sides of some boards. The result is a cleaner, more linear look than other natural Hickory hardwood floors.

A CRAFT Elite Grade Hickory floor features a lighter tone and organic patterns that set it apart from other wood floors. As with every CRAFT floor, it is made of North American hardwood, which is Chain of Custody certified (Sustainable Forestry Initiative® SFI-01898), ensuring that it is legal, ethical, and traceable back to a sustainably managed forest. CRAFT floors are all declared Red List Free and GREENGUARD Gold certified; they are also covered by a Product Specific, Type III Environmental Product Declaration.
